Preparation
- In a bowl, mix the cream cheese until soft.
- Chop the chipped beef into small pieces using kitchen scissors.
- Add the chopped beef, green onions, Worcestershire sauce, shredded cheddar, and garlic powder into the bowl.
- Use your hands to combine all the ingredients until well mixed.
- Shape the mixture into a ball and roll in extra chopped beef or parsley, if desired.
- Chill in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours before serving.
Serving
- Serve with crunchy pita chips, sliced celery or bell peppers, pretzel thins, or assorted whole grain crackers.
- For a creamier texture, let the cheese ball sit at room temperature for 15 minutes before serving.
Notes
Store leftovers wrapped in plastic or in a tight-lid container in the fridge for up to five days. Can be prepared a day in advance for the flavors to blend.
