Cool Whip Candy

An easy and nostalgic candy recipe that mimics the fluffy texture of a Three Musketeers bar with minimal effort and only three ingredients.

Ingredients
  

Main Ingredients
  • 1 container Cool Whip, thawed Make sure it is thawed in the fridge.
  • 2 cups chocolate chips or melting wafers Use melting wafers for easier dipping.
  • 1 cup powdered sugar Adjust based on mixture consistency.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a large bowl, stir together the thawed Cool Whip and powdered sugar until it looks like a soft dough.
  2. Cover a pan with parchment paper and press the mixture into an even layer, about half an inch thick.
  3. Freeze the mixture until firm, usually 1 to 2 hours.
  4. Once firm, cut into small squares or rectangles.
Dipping
  1. Melt the chocolate in the microwave in short bursts, stirring between each until smooth.
  2. Dip each piece of candy quickly in the melted chocolate, allowing excess to drip off, then set back on parchment to harden.

Notes

Keep candy centers cold to prevent them from becoming too soft while dipping. Use parchment paper instead of wax paper for easier removal. If chocolate thickens, a small amount of neutral oil can be added.
