Preparation
- Preheat your oven and line an 8x8 or 9x9 pan with parchment paper.
- Bake the brownies according to package or recipe instructions. Let them cool completely.
Strawberry Preparation
- Wash the strawberries and dry them thoroughly with paper towels.
- Let the strawberries sit on the counter for a few minutes to ensure they are completely dry.
Assembling
- Place the strawberries on top of the cooled brownies, either halved or sliced into rounds.
- Melt the chocolate in the microwave in short bursts, stirring until smooth. Stir in the oil.
- Pour the melted chocolate over the strawberries and spread gently with a spoon.
- Chill in the fridge for 20 to 40 minutes until chocolate is firm.
- Lift out, slice with a hot knife, and enjoy!
Notes
These brownies are best enjoyed fresh, ideally within 1 to 2 days. Store in the fridge in a covered container. For best results, do not freeze once topped with strawberries.
