Preparation
- Slice off the green tops of the strawberries and gently hollow out the center using a small paring knife.
- In a bowl, mix softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, cocoa powder, vanilla, and salt until smooth. If thick, add a tiny splash of milk to loosen.
Filling
- Spoon the filling into a piping bag or zip top bag. Snip the corner and pipe into each strawberry until slightly overfilled.
Finishing Touches
- Sprinkle with mini chocolate chips, grated chocolate, or dust with cocoa powder. Chill in the fridge for 15 to 30 minutes to set.
Notes
Great for parties and can be made 6-8 hours ahead. Store in a single layer in a container lined with paper towels. Avoid freezing strawberries, as it affects texture.
