  • 2 tablespoons BBQ sauce Choose a smoky, slightly sweet BBQ sauce.
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons honey Adjust the amount of honey based on the sweetness of your BBQ sauce.
  • 1 tablespoon yellow mustard Dijon works, but alters the flavor.
  • 1/2 teaspoon lemon juice or vinegar Optional for added tang.

Method

Preparation
  1. Add mayonnaise, BBQ sauce, honey, yellow mustard, and optionally lemon juice or vinegar to a small bowl.
  2. Stir until totally smooth and the color looks even.
  3. Taste the sauce, then adjust ingredients as necessary.
  4. Cover and chill in the refrigerator for at least 15 minutes to let the flavors blend.

Notes

Let the sauce rest for best flavor. Store in a small jar in the fridge for up to 5-7 days. Perfect as a dip for fries, roasted veggies, or spread on sandwiches.
