Ingredients
  

Crust
  • 1 package Graham crackers, crushed Honey or chocolate graham crackers
  • 1/2 cup Butter, melted Salted or unsalted
Filling
  • 8 oz Cream cheese, softened Let it sit out to soften
  • 1 cup Powdered sugar For easy blending
  • 1 tsp Lemon juice Freshly squeezed
  • 1 tsp Vanilla extract Don't skip this!
  • 8 oz Frozen whipped topping, thawed Convenience factor
  • 1 can Cherry pie filling Your favorite brand
Optional Toppings
  • 1/4 cup Nuts Chopped for crunch, optional
  • 1/4 cup Fresh berries For garnish, optional
  • 1/4 cup Chocolate chips A sprinkle, optional

Method
 

Prepare Crust
  1. Crush graham crackers using a zip-top bag and a rolling pin.
  2. Stir in melted butter and press the mixture into a baking dish.
  3. Chill the crust in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes.
Make Filling
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine softened cream cheese and powdered sugar. Beat until smooth.
  2. Add lemon juice and vanilla extract, mixing until well combined.
  3. Fold in thawed whipped topping until light and fluffy.
Assemble Dessert
  1. Spread the cream cheese mixture over the chilled crust.
  2. Top with cherry pie filling evenly.
  3. Cover and chill in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours before serving.

Notes

For best results, ensure cream cheese is completely softened. Chill time is essential for the right texture. Can be made ahead of time for extra flavor.
