Preparation
- In a bowl, mix the cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Spoon a small amount of the cream cheese mixture onto each egg roll wrapper.
- Add a scoop of cherry pie filling on top of the cream cheese.
- Wrap the egg roll tightly, sealing the edges with a dab of water if necessary.
- Brush the tops of the egg rolls with melted butter.
Cooking
- Preheat the air fryer to 350°F (175°C).
- Place the egg rolls in the air fryer basket without crowding them.
- Cook for 5 minutes, then flip them and cook for an additional 5 minutes until golden brown.
- Let the egg rolls sit for a minute before serving to avoid burns.
Notes
For storage, keep leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for 2-3 days; reheat in the air fryer for best results. Avoid freezing. Feel free to experiment with different fillings such as blueberry or Nutella.
