Ingredients

Main ingredients
  • 2 cups cooked pasta, cooled and patted dry Short pasta like bowties, penne, or rotini works best.
  • 1-1.5 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp grated Parmesan Fine grated Parmesan coats best.
  • 1-2 tbsp shredded mozzarella For extra cheesiness.
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • to taste salt and black pepper
  • a pinch chili flakes Optional for added spice.

Method

Preparation
  1. Cook your pasta until just tender, then drain it.
  2. Spread it on a towel or paper towels and pat it dry. Let it sit for 10 minutes if you can.
  3. Toss pasta with olive oil, Parmesan, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
Cooking
  1. Preheat your air fryer to 400 F if yours needs preheating.
  2. Add pasta in a single layer as much as possible. You can work in batches.
  3. Air fry for 8 to 12 minutes, shaking the basket every 3 to 4 minutes.
  4. In the last 2 minutes, sprinkle mozzarella and let it melt and crisp a bit.

Notes

Watch closely near the end of cooking, as air fryers vary widely in performance.
