  • 8 oz Cream cheese Let it soften for easier mixing.
  • 1 cup Sour cream Adds tang and helps with scoopability.
  • 1/2 cup Mayonnaise Optional for extra richness.
Main Ingredients
  • 3 cups Corn Fresh, frozen (thawed), or canned (drained) corn can be used.
  • 2 cups Shredded cheese Cheddar and mozzarella are recommended.
  • 1 can Green chiles Adds zip, optional.
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic powder For flavor.
  • 1 teaspoon Onion powder For flavor.
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt Adjust to taste.
  • 1/4 teaspoon Black pepper Adjust to taste.
  • 1/2 cup Chopped jalapenos Optional for heat.
  • 1/2 cup Bacon bits Optional.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large bowl, stir together the cream cheese, sour cream, and mayonnaise until smooth.
  3. Fold in the corn, shredded cheese, green chiles (if using), garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
Cooking
  1. Spread the mixture into a baking dish and top with an extra handful of shredded cheese.
  2. Bake in the preheated oven for 20 to 25 minutes, until hot and bubbly. If you prefer a browned top, broil for 1 to 2 minutes, watching closely.
  3. Let sit for 5 minutes before serving to thicken.
  4. Give the dip a quick stir in the dish before serving for a creamy texture.

Notes
