Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large bowl, combine the sausage, Cheddar Bay biscuit mix, seasoning packet, and shredded cheddar.
- Mix everything together using your hands until evenly combined. If the mixture feels dry, add 1 to 2 tablespoons of milk.
- Roll the mixture into 1 tablespoon-sized balls and place them on a lined baking sheet with space between each.
Baking
- Bake in the preheated oven for 18 to 22 minutes until browned and cooked through.
- Allow the sausage balls to rest for 5 minutes before serving warm.
Notes
Avoid overmixing the dough and keep the balls uniform in size for even cooking. Use parchment paper to prevent sticking and ensure even baking.
