Ingredients
  

Dough
  • 1 can refrigerated biscuit dough Or crescent dough for a flakier option.
Apple Filling
  • 1 cup apple filling Can be homemade or canned, chopped into small pieces.
  • 12-16 pieces small caramel bits Use caramel pieces or bits for easier stuffing.
  • 2-3 tablespoons melted butter For brushing after baking.
Cinnamon Sugar Topping
  • 1 tablespoon sugar For the cinnamon sugar topping.
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon For the cinnamon sugar topping.
  • 1 pinch salt Optional in the cinnamon sugar.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Flatten each biscuit into a round shape.
  3. Add a spoonful of apple filling and one caramel piece to the center.
  4. Pinch the dough closed and shape into a ball, placing seam side down.
Baking
  1. Bake for around 12-16 minutes, or until golden and cooked through.
  2. Brush with melted butter immediately after taking them out of the oven.
  3. Roll the warm bombs in cinnamon sugar mixture.

Notes

Chill the filling before assembling to avoid leaks. Do not overfill and seal tightly to prevent caramel from escaping. Use parchment for baking or an oiled surface for air frying.
