Preparation
- Line an 8-inch pan with parchment paper, allowing overhang.
- In a medium saucepan, combine sweetened condensed milk, chocolate chips, butter, vanilla, and salt.
- Heat over low heat, stirring frequently until melted and smooth.
- Remove from heat and fold in chopped Butterfinger bars, reserving some for topping.
- Pour the fudge mixture into the prepared pan, spreading evenly.
- Drizzle caramel sauce over the top and swirl gently with a knife.
- Press reserved chopped Butterfinger on top.
Chilling
- Refrigerate the fudge for at least 2-3 hours, preferably overnight, to set.
Cutting
- Once set, lift fudge out of the pan using parchment paper and place on a cutting board.
- Use a warm knife to cut into squares for clean edges.
Notes
For best texture, avoid high heat and refrigerate the fudge. Freezing is also an option for future treats.
