  • 1 pans Bundt pan (10 to 12 cup)
  • 1 tablespoon Nonstick spray or a little oil
  • 8 cups Tortilla chips (thicker restaurant style) Thicker chips hold up best
  • 2 cups Shredded cheese (cheddar, Monterey Jack, or a mix)
  • 1 cup Cooked taco meat or shredded chicken (optional) Amazing addition
  • 1 can Beans (black beans or refried beans)
  • 1 cup Salsa or drained diced tomatoes Avoid watery salsa
  • 1/4 cup Pickled jalapenos Optional topping

  • 1 cup Sour cream Optional for serving
  • 1 cup Guacamole Optional for serving
  • 1/4 cup Cilantro Optional for serving
  • to taste Hot sauce Optional for serving

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Spray the bundt pan really well, including the center tube.
  3. Start with a layer of chips, then sprinkle cheese, add a little meat, beans, and salsa. Repeat layers until the pan is filled, ending with a generous blanket of cheese on top.
Baking
  1. Bake for about 15 to 20 minutes until everything is melty and the edges look toasty.
  2. Let it sit for 5 minutes, then invert onto a plate. If nervous, run a butter knife gently around the edges first.

Notes

Make sure to drain wet toppings to keep chips crunchy. For leftovers, store in an airtight container and reheat in the oven for best results.
