Ingredients

For the Grapes
  • 2-3 pounds seedless grapes, green or red Use your preferred variety
  • 1 cup vodka or white rum Enough to cover most of the grapes
For the Coating
  • 1 box flavored gelatin mix Lime, lemon, or strawberry flavors work well
  • 1 cup granulated sugar For the sugar coating
  • 1 whole lemon or lime zest Optional for extra flavor

Method

Preparation
  1. Wash and dry the grapes thoroughly. Spread them on a towel to air dry.
  2. Place the grapes in a container with a lid, pour the alcohol over them, and gently stir.
  3. Cover the container and refrigerate for 8 to 24 hours to soak.
Coating and Freezing
  1. After soaking, drain the grapes but do not rinse them.
  2. In a bowl, mix the gelatin powder and sugar.
  3. Toss the grapes in the mix until they are fully coated.
  4. Spread the coated grapes on a parchment-lined tray.
  5. Freeze the grapes for at least 2 hours before serving.

Notes

For a less sweet version, you can adjust the gelatin flavor or use less sugar. They can last in the freezer for 2 to 3 days. Label them clearly if serving around kids.
