Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 2 cups white chocolate chips Good quality helps a lot.
  • 1 can sweetened condensed milk
  • 2 tablespoons butter For smoothness.
  • 1/2 cup freeze dried blueberries Crushed before adding for stronger flavor without adding liquid.
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 pinch salt Enhances sweetness.
  • a few drops purple or pink food coloring Optional for color.

Method

Preparation
  1. Line an 8x8 inch pan with parchment paper, leaving some paper hanging over the sides.
  2. Crush the freeze dried blueberries by placing them in a zip bag and rolling with a cup.
Cooking
  1. In a saucepan, combine white chocolate chips, sweetened condensed milk, and butter over low heat. Stir constantly until smooth and glossy.
  2. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla extract, salt, and crushed freeze dried blueberries. Add food coloring if desired.
  3. Pour the mixture into the prepared pan and smooth the top with a spoon. Optionally sprinkle some extra blueberry powder on top.
Chilling and Serving
  1. Refrigerate for at least 3 hours, or until firm. Overnight is preferable.
  2. Lift out the fudge using the parchment paper and cut into small squares with a warm knife.

Notes

Use low heat and stir constantly to prevent the chocolate from seizing. Freeze dried blueberries are recommended for best results. Optionally, add fresh berries on top after chilling.
