Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 1 gallon chilled fruit punch or berry punch (store-bought)
  • 4 cups black grape juice Helps achieve the dark cauldron color
  • 2 cups pineapple juice Adds brightness to the punch
  • 1 liter lemon lime soda or sparkling water Add right before serving
  • 1-2 cups fresh or frozen mixed berries For garnish
  • 1 orange sliced into thin rounds Optional, for garnish
  • to taste ice or an ice ring
  • 1-2 cups vodka or rum Optional for adults
For Dry Ice Effect
  • 1-2 pounds dry ice For rolling fog effect
  • Thick gloves or tongs For handling dry ice safely
  • A separate small bowl or mesh strainer To keep dry ice contained

Method

Preparation
  1. In a big punch bowl or a clean drink dispenser, stir together the fruit punch, black grape juice, and pineapple juice.
  2. Taste the mixture. If it's too sweet, add a splash of sparkling water; if too tart, adjust with more fruit punch.
  3. Right before guests arrive, pour in the lemon lime soda to keep it fizzy.
  4. Add the mixed berries and orange slices, then top with ice.
  5. If using dry ice, add it right before serving for the fog effect. Ensure it is contained to avoid any accidents.

Notes

For a spooky presentation, use a dark punch bowl or cauldron, and garnish with bright colored fruits or candies. Frozen berries make a great substitute for ice to prevent dilution.
