  • 4 pieces Flatbreads or naan Sturdy enough for toppings.
  • 1 cup Cooked chicken Use rotisserie or leftover grilled chicken.
  • 1 cup BBQ sauce Use your favorite flavor.
  • 1 cup Cheese Mozzarella is preferred, can mix with cheddar.
Optional Toppings
  • 1/2 cup Red onion Thin slices, can soak in cold water to reduce sharpness.
  • 1/4 cup Cilantro Add after baking for freshness.
  • 1/2 cup Cooked corn Adds sweetness and texture.
  • 1/2 cup Bell peppers Adds crunch.
  • 2 slices Bacon Optional for added flavor.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F (about 220°C).
  2. Place flatbreads on a baking sheet lined with parchment for easy cleanup.
  3. Spread a thin layer of BBQ sauce on each flatbread.
  4. Top with cooked chicken, a handful of cheese, and any additional toppings.
Baking
  1. Bake for 8 to 12 minutes until cheese is melted and edges are golden.
  2. Let the flatbreads sit for a minute before slicing.
  3. Finish with a sprinkle of cilantro or a drizzle of BBQ sauce if desired.

Notes

For extra crispiness, bake the flatbread for 2 minutes before adding toppings. Feel free to experiment with different sauces and toppings to fit your taste.
