- Halve or quarter the cherry tomatoes, then toss them with olive oil.
- Roughly chop the basil leaves.
Assembly
- On each toast, spread a layer of smashed avocado.
- Top with the tomatoes and chopped basil.
- Sprinkle with salt, pepper, and optionally drizzle balsamic glaze over the top.
Notes
Store toppings and bread separately to keep crunch. This bruschetta is best served fresh. Consider adding other toppings like feta or mozzarella if desired.
