Preparation
- Mash the bananas in a bowl until mostly smooth.
- Whisk in the egg, sugar, melted butter, and vanilla.
- Sprinkle in the flour, baking soda, cinnamon, and salt.
- Stir until you do not see dry flour anymore; do not overmix.
- Grease your pan and add the batter, smoothing the top.
Cooking
- Preheat the air fryer if necessary, then bake at 320°F for about 28 to 38 minutes.
- Start checking at 25 minutes. If the top is too dark, loosely cover it with foil.
- Perform a toothpick test to check doneness; it should come out with a few moist crumbs.
Cooling
- Let it cool for at least 15 minutes before slicing.
Notes
For best results, use very ripe bananas. Store the banana bread wrapped tightly to keep it moist.
