Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F.
- Lightly grease a 9x13 baking dish.
- Spread the cherry pie filling evenly across the bottom of the dish.
- Sprinkle the dry chocolate cake mix over the top without mixing it in.
- Drizzle the melted butter evenly over the surface.
Baking
- Bake for about 40 to 50 minutes until the edges are bubbling and the top looks set and crackly.
- Let it cool for 10 to 15 minutes before serving.
Notes
Serve warm, topped with vanilla ice cream, whipped cream, or fresh cherries. Store leftovers covered in the fridge for up to 4 days and reheat before serving.
