Main Ingredients
  • 1 can Canned chili (with or without beans) Use your preferred type of chili.
  • 8 oz Cream cheese Full fat is recommended for best results.
  • 1 cup Shredded cheese (cheddar or Mexican blend) Freshly shredded cheese melts better.

Method
 

Microwave Method
  1. Add the chili and cream cheese (cut into chunks) into a microwave-safe bowl.
  2. Microwave in bursts of 30 to 45 seconds, stirring after each burst until the cream cheese is blended.
  3. Stir in the shredded cheese and microwave again until melted.
  4. Stir well and serve warm.
Stovetop Method
  1. Combine chili and cream cheese in a saucepan over low heat, stirring frequently until blended.
  2. Add the shredded cheese and stir until melted.
Slow Cooker Method
  1. Combine all ingredients in the slow cooker on low heat. Stir occasionally, keeping the lid on.

Notes

For extra flavor, consider adding salsa, green onions, or pickled jalapenos. Serve with Fritos or tortilla chips for a great dipping experience.
