2 Bones in thick pork chops, approximately 1 inch thick
3 tablespoons minced garlic
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
4 tablespoons butter
½ teaspoon red bell pepper flakes
3 tablespoons brown Sugar
Salt and pepper
Fresh parsley chopped
Instructions
Turn oven on to 400 degrees. Salt and pepper the pork chops.
In a skillet that is oven-safe (I use cast iron), heat vegetable oil on medium heat. Sear the pork chops for 3 minutes per side. Take out and place in a bowl.
Reduce heat to low, and add butter, garlic, and brown sugar. Whisk until combined. Allow it to simmer for 2 minutes. The sauce should be added to the pork chops.
Bake in oven safe skillet for 8-10 mins or until the internal temperature of pork chops is 145F
Allow pork chops to rest for five minutes. Add fresh chopped parsley to the pork chops and enjoy!
