POLISH SAUSAGE, SAUERKRAUT AND POTATOES (CROCKPOT)!!!

It is no lie that I love my Crockpot! Every chance I have I am using the crockpot to cook dinner for me. It is so helpful and lets me get other things done that need to be done. This time I was really wanting something out of the ordinary and I found it with the recipe for Polish Sausage, Sauerkraut and Potatoes.

The recipe gives me a complete meal and tastes phenomenal! You have got to try this one, you will not regret it!
By using the crockpot and cooking over a period of time, the food came out perfectly cooked, the flavors blended together and yet, I could savor each ingredient. I have decided that this is one recipe that I am definitely going to keep and make more often. When you know you are going to have a super busy day, this is the recipe to reach for.

All you need to do is a few minutes of minor preparation then toss the ingredients in the crockpot, set it, and forget it until you are ready to eat.

Ingredients:

2 (14-ounce) cans sauerkraut, undrained
6 potatoes, peeled and cut into large chunks
1/3 cup brown sugar
1 cup water
1 pound Polish sausage, cut into chunks
1 1/2 teaspoons caraway seeds
2 bay leaves
1/2 teaspoon pepper

Directions:

-Place sauerkraut and potatoes in slow cooker, add spices, brown sugar and water.
-Stir in sausage chunks.
-Cook 4 hours on high or about 6 hours on low or until potatoes are tender.
