  5. Gradually add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients, mixing until just combined.
  6. Fill each cupcake liner about halfway with batter.
  7. Place half a marshmallow in the center of each cupcake and press down gently.
  8. Sprinkle chocolate chips evenly over the batter.
  9. Top with remaining batter, covering the marshmallow and chocolate chips.
  10. Bake for 18-20 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  11. Remove from the oven and let cool in the pan for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
