Well, I had not seen omelettes in a bag done, but after seeing it done last weekend, I am sold on the idea. Omelettes in a bag are perfect for camping or if have a group to feed breakfast to at home to make individualized requests for eggs, quickly.
Who needs a dirty pan when you can just throw baggies away!! Plus no waiting your turn for the pan. You can cook a whole bunch of omelettes at one time in a pan of boiling water.
Ingredients:
1 freezing bag
2 eggs
1/4 cup of omelette fillings of your choice – sausage, bacon, onion, mushroom, pepper, etc.
Half a cup of cheese
Instructions:
-Break the eggs into a quarter-gallon bag.
-Add fillings and cheese. Seal the bag and shake to whip and mix the omelette.
-Cooking in sweetly boiling water for 15-16 min .
