Try this three ingredient apple danish recipe this fall after you get back from the orchard! It’s the perfect easy baking recipe to use for all those fall apples!
I love to get into the spirit of the season, no matter what time of year it is, with a little bit of seasonally-appropriate baking. I just don’t always have as much time for that as I would like though with all of this life going on all the time. You know how it is.
This is why I love a good super simple recipe. These types of recipes allow me to enjoy creating something delicious to enjoy with my family and make me feel like I’m really embracing the season, but don’t require an entire afternoon of my life to do it. This three ingredient danish recipe really hits the mark when it comes to that type of recipe.
This is the perfect thing to make right after coming home from the orchard during the fall season. We always fit in an apple orchard trip every year and come home with way too many apples. Every year I’m more determined than the last to make use of all of those apples, and I have a few really easy recipes that I always make, but I’m happy to have discovered this new one to add to my bag of tricks. I tested this one out on some grocery store apples, and I’ll definitely be making it again this week after our orchard trip.
When we get home, the first thing I do is empty the giant plastic bags of apples into big bowls, which I leave out on the kitchen table to make them really easy to grab when I feel inspired. I’ve left them in the plastic bags before, and somehow I’m not quite as motivated to actually use the apples when they’re stored like that.
My kids love homemade apple sauce, so that’s the first thing that I always make. I always think I’ve made way too much, but it’s almost always all gone by later that night, no matter how much I make.
