Angel food cake is one of my favorite desserts. There is really nothing like it! From the moist and airy cake that brings hints of vanilla and almond. These flavors are so subtle and the best part is you can interchange other ingredients to build the perfect flavor profile that you want. Angel food cake tastes like you are eating a cloud it is such a fluffy cake with bold flavors.
We are adding the traditional Strawberry flavor to this recipe and baking it in just 15 minutes! Introducing my 15-Minute Strawberry Angel Food Dessert!

Since we are using fresh strawberries in this dessert you want to serve pretty quickly. This dessert is best served chilled and will hold up in the fridge for approximately 1-3 days. Storing at room temperature the strawberries will only last 1 day.

After a few days, the Strawberries will turn mushy and slightly sour. So whether you are making this dessert for the family or for an event make sure that it is enjoyed prior to the third day. It will be at its peak freshness for 24 hours after it is made.


1 (10 inches) angel food cake
2 (8 oz) packages cream cheese, softened
1 c white sugar
1 (8 oz) container frozen whipped topping, thawed
1 quart fresh strawberries, sliced
1 (18 oz) jar strawberry glaze

In a 9×13-inch baking dish, add the cake and crumble it.

In a medium mixing bowl, add sugar and cream cheese. Beat until well blended.

Add the whipped topping and beat until well blended.

Add the cream cheese mixture into the crumbled cake and spread it evenly.

In a medium mixing bowl, add the glaze and strawberries. Toss until the strawberries are well coated.

Spread the mixture on top of the cream cheese.

Place it inside the fridge to chill for a few hours.

Serve cold and enjoy!
