Frequently Asked Questions:

The recipe calls for vanilla wafers, can I change that?

I do believe that there are other flavors available at some locations. You will have to see what is available.

I had this recipe once using a cake mix, why change?

This is slightly lower in carbohydrates, this one does not call for frosting either, so less sugar.

Do I have to use Tequila?

No! I am not forcing anyone to partake in alcohol. However, you can change it up to brandy or whisky if you like that better. I have heard that some people have even avoided alcohol completely and used fruit juice. I have not tried that, so I cannot vouch for it.

Tips and Tricks:

These little balls of sweetness and yum can be rolled in white granulated sugar, or any color of granulated sugar.

I used a little lime zest on the top of the batch I made, I melted some green candy melts and drizzled lightly over the Margarita Balls after they were rolled in sugar.
