1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 cup mini chocolate chips or finely chopped chocolate

How to Make Sicilian Ricotta & Chocolate Graffe:

Prepare the Dough:

In a large mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, yeast, and salt.
Add warm milk, eggs, melted butter, and lemon zest. Mix until a dough forms.
Knead the dough on a lightly floured surface for about 10 minutes until smooth and elastic.
Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover with a damp cloth, and let it rise in a warm place for about 1 hour or until doubled in size.
