  • 1-2 tablespoons grated parmesan Optional for extra crisp
  • to taste seasonings (salt, pepper, garlic powder, paprika, etc.) Use your favorite seasonings
  • 1 sheet parchment paper Important for baking

Method

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. If your cottage cheese looks watery, spoon it into a fine mesh strainer and let it drain for a few minutes.
  3. Scoop small mounds of cottage cheese onto the parchment, leaving space between them.
  4. Flatten each mound gently with the back of a spoon to ensure they are thin.
  5. Sprinkle on your choice of seasonings, and if using, add grated parmesan on top.
Baking
  1. Bake in the preheated oven for about 30 to 40 minutes, checking around 25 minutes.
  2. Look for a deep golden color at the edges and mostly set in the middle.
Cooling
  1. Turn off the oven, crack the door, and let them sit for 10 minutes to help dry them out.
  2. Remove the tray and let the chips cool completely on the pan.

Notes

To enhance crunchiness, ensure that the chips are thin and allow ample cooling time post-baking. Experiment with various seasonings to suit your taste.
