I love those recipes that we all grew up with, they are just too good to miss out on.
This is a tried and true recipe !! if you want to satisfy your sweet tooth, you cannot go wrong here. This is the way my Mother always made, jut give a shot it wonβt fail you !
Peach Cobbler Pound Cake has all the flavor of your favorite cobbler, in a moist delicious pound cake! Vanilla, nutmeg, and cinnamon combine with a touch of almond to really bring the flavor home. Sugared pans, in lieu of floured help to create a fantastic crisp crust, the perfect touch to this melt in your mouth moist pound cake!
Ingredients :
Β° 6-8 fresh peaches, peeled and sliced
Β° 1 stick unsalted butter, melted
Β° 1 cup flour
Β° 1 cup sugar
Β° 1 cup brown sugar
Β° 1 tablespoon of baking powder
Β° β
teaspoon salt
Β° 1 cup milk
Β° 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
Β° juice from Β½ lemon
Instructions :
1 Preheaat oven 375Β°F.
2 Pour the melted butter into the center of a 9β³ x 13β³ baking dish, not spreading the butter around the pan.
3 In a separate bowl, mix flour, 1 cup sugar, salt and baking powder. Pour the milk and vanilla extract slowly,
And stir to blend. Pour blend over butter, but do not stirring .
4 Add brown sugar, peach slices, and lemon juice to a saucepan over high heat. Stir constantly until sugar
It melted completely and the peaches released their juices.
5 Pour the peaches over the mixture. Donβt move.
6 Bake for 40-45 minutes or until the surface of the cobbler is golden.
7 Serving warm
