The first time I made this, my picky eaters absolutely loved it. It’s perfect for a busy weeknight when you just need to get something on the table, and we’ve heard it’s a family favorite for many of our readers. It can also be eaten the next day when stored properly in an airtight container! There are countless ways you can customize this recipe too. You can add panko breadcrumbs, mozzarella cheese, crispy bacon, more ranch mixture, green beans, and more to make it your own.
The ranch flavor mixed with the juicy chicken will have everyone coming back for seconds. It’s also full of pantry staples so you won’t have to make an extra trip to the store! We love recipes with simple ingredients – it’s the best way to get an easy dinner on the table on those busy nights. This is also a great meal prep recipe!
Ingredients
6 boneless skinless chicken breasts
1 ½ cups ranch dressing
1 cup shredded Parmesan cheese
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1 ounce ranch dressing mix package
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Cover baking sheet with aluminum foil.
Poor ranch dressing into a medium or large sized bowl, and set aside.
In a separate bowl, combine Parmesan cheese, Cheddar cheese, and the packet of ranch dressing mix.
Mix until well combined.
Dip thawed chicken breasts into the bowl of ranch and place on the covered cookie sheet.
Sprinkle the tops of the chicken breast with the cheese and ranch seasoning mixture, until you can’t see the chicken breast.
Place the ranch and cheese covered chicken breasts into the hot oven and bake for 30 minutes or until the chicken is cooked all the way through.
Sprinkle with extra Cheddar and Parmesan cheese when it is freshly out of the oven (our family really likes cheese)
