This is a simple, sweet and tangy main course for special occasions. Honey baked Ham is my favorite. It’s not the one you make, but the one you buy in a catalogue or get from a specific store. THE Honey Baked Ham. It’s nice to try new things every now and again, so I suggested that they give a different type of ham a shot. One that is equally sweet, but with a fruity punch, and caramelized brown sugar flavor. It would be the Brown Sugar Pineapple Ham. Although we might not completely give up our honey-baked varieties, I can assure you that this one will always be in the ham rotation.

1h 30m cook time
INGREDIENTS
1 8-10 lb bone-in ham
1 (20 oz) can pineapple tidbits, undrained
1 1/2 cups brown sugar
1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
PREPARATION
Preheat oven to 325°F.
Place ham cut side down in a baking or roasting pan. Score the top of the ham diagonally with a sharp knife in a cross-hatch pattern, making lines about 1-inch apart and ¼-inch deep. Set aside.
In a saucepan over medium-high heat, combine pineapple and juice with brown sugar, mustard, and ground cloves.
Stirring occasionally, bring to a boil, then reduce heat to a simmer and let bubble until thickened, 10-15 minutes.
Brush glaze over ham, getting in between slices as well. Reserve about 1/4 of the glaze.
Bake until heated through and glaze has caramelized, about 90 minutes, brushing ham with glaze every 30 minutes.
Brush with remaining glaze and serve. Enjoy!
