  • 1 1 pie crust (deep-dish), store-bought or homemade

  • 1 pound 1 (450g) ground beef

  • 1 small 1 onion, finely chopped

  • 2 cloves 2 garlic, minced

  • 1 teaspoon 1 Italian seasoning

  • Salt and black pepper, to taste

  • 1 cup 1 (240g) ricotta cheese

  • 1/2 cup 1/2 (60g) grated Parmesan cheese

  • 1/2 cup 1/2 (60g) shredded mozzarella cheese

  • 1/4 cup 1/4 (60ml) tomato sauce

  • 2 large 2 eggs, beaten

  • Chopped fresh basil or parsley for garnish (optional)


  • Preheat your oven to the temperature indicated on the pie crust package. Place the pie crust in a pie dish and set aside.
